Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing is seeking a Construction Safety Coordinator for a large-scale data center project in Asheville, OH. You will provide daily field safety oversight for subcontractors, craft personnel, and supervision, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and project-specific requirements.

The role is a 1099 contractor with a pay rate of $52 per hour, weekly pay, $150 monthly completion bonus, and a 40-hour workweek with potential Saturdays as the project progresses.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Construction Certification is required.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification is required.
• Minimal 5+ years of construction safety experience preferred.
• Experience conducting field audits, inspections, observations, and hazard assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily field safety oversight for data center construction activities.
• Maintain a highly visible presence in active work areas.
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments.
• Monitor subcontractor work activities and ongoing construction operations.
• Review JHAs, AHAs, permits, and pre-task plans for safety compliance.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements.
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions.
• Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel.
• Coordinate safety activities with project management, supervision, and subcontractors.
• Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation.
• Maintain safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports.

Duration: 12-18 Months (Start: 10/5)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 40 Hours Per Week
