Schnellecke Logistics USA is seeking a Safety & Quality Specialist to support Huntsville operations. You will help implement and maintain safety, quality, and environmental systems, conduct internal audits, and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires collaboration with Operations and leadership to promote a culture of safety and excellence. Qualifications include a HS diploma (or higher), 2+ years in safety/quality/environment management, and knowledge of ISO standards; proficiency in MS

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree preferred; related field considered
• 2+ years in safety, quality, and environmental management systems
• Experience with safety and quality audits, KPI reporting, problem-solving, and corrective action processes
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with quality tools such as FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC, and MSA preferred

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and maintenance of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems
• Monitor compliance with ISO 9001/14001/45001 and OHSAS requirements
• Conduct internal audits and coordinate corrective and preventive actions
• Perform failure analysis and root cause investigations to identify issues
• Monitor processes to identify safety and quality concerns
• Collect, analyze, and report KPIs with improvement recommendations
• Use statistical tools and problem-solving methodologies for process improvements
• Coordinate environmental management activities and ensure compliance
• Support QA initiatives including material inspection, segregation, disposition of nonconforming products
• Maintain documentation and support document control processes
• Partner with Operations to implement continuous improvement and safety culture
