Schnellecke Logistics seeks a Safety & Quality Specialist for Huntsville operations to maintain a safe work environment, ensure quality standards, and drive continuous improvement. The role partners with Operations and leadership to promote safety, accountability, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities include implementing EMS, auditing compliance with ISO standards, performing root cause analyses, and reporting KPIs.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in safety, quality, and environmental management systems.
• Experience with safety and quality audits, KPI reporting, corrective actions.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with quality tools such as FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC, and MSA preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support the implementation and maintenance of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems.
• Monitor compliance with applicable safety and quality standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and OHSAS requirements.
• Conduct internal audits, identify noncompliance, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Perform failure analysis and root cause investigations to identify issues and prevent recurrence.
• Monitor processes and KPIs to identify safety and quality concerns and drive improvements.
• Coordinate environmental management activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support QA initiatives, including material inspection, segregation, and disposition of nonconforming products.
• Maintain documentation and support document control processes.
• Partner with Operations to implement continuous improvement and promote safety culture.
