Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking a Safety Manager to manage the safety program, ensure a safe environment, and promote the Incident and Injury Free philosophy. You will conduct safety training and monitor the safety programs on assigned projects, ensuring compliance with policies and best practices.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Safety and at least 6 - 8 years of relevant experience in a safety management role, particularly in the construction industry.

Qualifications

• 6 - 8 years of experience in field and office safety and health program management.
• Construction industry experience preferred.
• Currently possess or able to obtain OSHA 500 Trainer Card for the construction industry.
• Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the safety program on assigned projects.
• Conduct the safety training program in accordance with organizational standards.
• Perform internal safety audits and inspections on projects.
• Monitor site safety communication and maintain training effectiveness.
• Collaborate with project team members to sustain IIF philosophy.
