Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction in Rochester, MN is seeking a Safety Coordinator to manage AP's safety program and champion the Incident and Injury Free culture across site teams. You will lead site safety trainings, verify SDS, monitor communications, coordinate with field leadership, and help with incident investigations.

This role requires 2-4 years in construction safety, OSHA 30/510, and a willingness to travel. A safety-related degree and First Aid/CPR certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years minimum experience in a construction safety role.
• Proficient with Word and Excel.
• OSHA 30 and/or OSHA 510 preferred.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred.
• Ability and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project site safety program and IIF culture.
• Deliver site safety trainings and orientation.
• Verify SDS and Health and Safety Manuals on site.
• Monitor safety communications and toolbox talks.
• Perform site safety inspections and train workers.
• Assist in incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Support return-to-work processes for injured employees.
• Collaborate with Superintendents, PMs, subcontractors, and owners on safety compliance.
