Job summary

Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital in South Boston, VA, seeks a Safety Partner to help keep patients and the hospital safe. Primary duties include sitting with patients at risk of suicide, falls, wandering, self-harm, or other risk behaviors to enable patients to maintain function during their hospital stay.

Teamwork is strong; the role requires a High School Diploma, BLS certification, and about 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.

• 1 year of Healthcare Experience Preferred

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $17.82 - $25.65 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
