Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg is seeking a Safety Partner to help maintain a safe hospital environment. You will sit with patients at risk of suicide, falls, wandering, self-harm or other risk behaviors to support safe, dignified care during their stay.

This role emphasizes teamwork across departments, with a focus on de-escalation, monitoring, and supportive intervention to protect patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• BLS Certification.
• 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with keeping patients and the hospital a safe environment.
• Sit with patients at risk of suicide, falls, wandering, self-harm or other risk behaviors.
• Provide monitoring and support to enable patients to maintain function during their hospital stay.

The base pay range for full-time employment is $17.82 - $25.65 hourly.
