Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Suffolk, VA seeks a full-time Safety Manager to lead safety training, compliance, and incident prevention. You will deliver OSHA 10 & 30 training, orientation for new hires, and ensure adherence to safety policies across job sites.

Ideal candidates will have OSHA-500 or OSHA-501, 3+ years in construction safety, strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, and proven communication skills. Travel may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• OSHA-500/501 certification required.
• 3+ years of construction safety experience or related field.
• Knowledge of OSHA/state/federal safety regulations and industry practices.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducts safety training on safety, technical skills, compliance with IES policies, and accident prevention.
• Delivers OSHA 10 & 30 certification, new employee orientation, and other required safety trainings.
• Provides IES fleet safety training to all drivers.
• Develops and prepares training materials and presentations.
