Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, seeks a full-time Safety Manager in Suffolk, VA to lead safety training, ensure compliance with IES safety policies and procedures, and promote accident prevention techniques across construction and industrial environments.

The role requires OSHA 10/30 training delivery, new employee orientation, and fleet safety instruction, plus development of training materials, maintenance of training records, and participation in safety inspections to correct

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA and state/federal safety regulations as applied to construction.
• Experience delivering safety training and maintaining records.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management and field staff.

Responsibilities

• Delivers OSHA 10 & 30 training and safety orientations.
• Conducts safety trainings on compliance and equipment operation.
• Maintains employee training databases and tracking.
• Participates in safety inspections and corrects violations promptly.
• Assists with safety files and regulatory documentation.
• Travel as required by assignments.
