Sheakley Workforce Staffing is seeking a Construction Safety Manager for a Sandusky, OH project. The role provides hands-on safety oversight during utility and concrete construction with a focus on hazard identification, compliance, and safe execution of critical site activities.
The ideal candidate has 7+ years in construction safety, data center or large commercial build experience, OSHA 30, and a BCSP credential or related degree.

Duration: 8 Months (Start: Immediate Need)
Type: 1099 Contractor
Pay Rate: $56/hr
Per Diem: $125/Day (7 Days Per Week)
Completion Bonus: $150/month
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Schedule: 50 Hours Per Week | Monday-Friday | 1st Shift
Additional Schedule Details: Standard schedule is 5x10s. Additional overtime may become available based on project milestones and construction demands.

This opportunity provides hands-on safety oversight for critical site development operations including underground utility installation, concrete construction, excavation activities, grading operations, site preparation, and heavy civil construction work.
The Construction Safety Manager will maintain a strong field presence while working directly with craft personnel, equipment operators, subcontractors, supervision, and project leadership to identify hazards, maintain compliance, and support the safe execution of utility and concrete construction activities within a fast-paced mission-critical construction environment.
