Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing is seeking a Construction Safety Manager for a 1-year contract in Ellendale, ND. You will provide hands-on safety oversight for electrical construction activities on a data center project, coordinating with electricians, field supervision and leadership to maintain OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities include conducting site inspections, reviewing JHAs/permits, monitoring temporary power and LOTO, leading incident investigations, and promoting a proactive safety culture

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Construction Certification is required.
• 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• Experience working with electrical contractors.
• Electrical construction safety experience.

• Provide daily field safety oversight for electrical construction activities.
• Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas.
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments.
• Monitor electrical installations, temporary power, equipment installation, LOTO, and energization activities.
• Review JHAs, AHAs, permits, and pre-task plans.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements.
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions.
• Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with electricians and field personnel.
• Coordinate safety activities with project leadership and field supervision.
• Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation.
• Maintain required safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports.
• Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project.

Construction Safety Manager

Location: Ellendale, ND

Duration: 1 Year (Start: ASAP)

Type: 1099 Contractor

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Rate: $52/hr

Overtime: Paid After 40 Hours

Per Diem: $75/Day Worked On-Site + Client-Covered Lodging

Completion Bonus: $150/month

Pay Frequency: Weekly

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | 50 Hours Per Week

Additional Schedule Details: Possible Saturdays depending on project needs.
