Sheakley Workforce Staffing is seeking a Construction Safety Manager in Ellendale, ND for a 1-year, 1099 contract with on-site duties. The role centers on hands-on safety oversight of electrical construction activities across multiple project phases, ensuring OSHA compliance and safety before and during energization.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Construction Certification.
• 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• Experience working with electrical contractors.
• Electrical construction safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily field safety oversight for electrical construction activities.
• Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas.
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments.
• Monitor electrical installations, temporary power, equipment installation, LOTO, and energization activities.
• Review JHAs, AHAs, permits, and pre-task plans.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements.
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions.
• Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with electricians and field personnel.
• Coordinate safety activities with project leadership and field supervision.
• Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation.
• Maintain required safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports.
• Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project.
