Responsibilities

• Provide daily field safety oversight for electrical construction activities
• Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments
• Monitor electrical installations, temporary power, equipment installation, LOTO, and energization activities
• Review JHAs, AHAs, permits, and pre-task plans
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project‑specific safety requirements
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions
• Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with electricians and field personnel
• Coordinate safety activities with project leadership and field supervision
• Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation
• Maintain required safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports
• Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project

Construction Safety Manager

Location: Ellendale, ND

Duration: 1 Year (Start: ASAP)

Type: 1099 Contractor

Compensation & Schedule: Pay Rate: $52/hr

Overtime: Paid After 40 Hours

Per Diem: $75/Day Worked On-Site + Client-Covered Lodging

Completion Bonus: $150/month

Pay Frequency: Weekly

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | 50 Hours Per Week

Additional Schedule Details: Possible Saturdays depending on project needs.
