Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Safety Manager to lead the development and oversight of safety programs and site-specific Health and Safety Plans (HASP) across utility, infrastructure, and construction operations.

The role collaborates with operations, project teams, and clients to promote a culture of safety, reduce incidents, and drive continuous improvement. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and HASP/JSA, plus 5+ years in relevant settings is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of safety management experience in construction, utility, telecommunications, or infrastructure environments.
• Experience developing HASP, JSA/JHA, corrective action programs, audits, investigations, and compliance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain Safety policies, HASP, and site-specific safety plans.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions; share lessons learned.
• Coordinate safety training, orientations, toolbox talks, and regulatory training.
