Wharton-Smith, Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager in the Palm Beach Gardens region to lead site safety initiatives and uphold project safety plans across our southeastern construction operations.

You will perform inspections, manage incident reporting, coordinate safety trainings, and maintain safety records while collaborating with project teams and subcontractors to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualificações

• OSHA construction safety standards knowledge.
• OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (OSHA 30 a plus).
• Construction jobsite environment experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accountability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Observe, identify and document safety hazards.
• Work collaboratively with project teams and subcontractors.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with jobsite safety inspections and hazard identification to help maintain a safe work environment.
• Support implementation of the project safety plan and Wharton-Smith safety policies.
• Monitor jobsite activities to ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices.
• Assist with documentation of incidents, near-misses, and safety observations.
• Support safety meetings and safety training initiatives.
• Maintain safety records, reports, and compliance documentation.
• Other tasks as directed by the Safety Manager or project leadership team.
