Wharton-Smith, Inc. in Palm Beach Gardens, FL is seeking an experienced General Superintendent with a water construction background to lead all field operations on major projects.

You will drive safe, efficient, and high-quality execution while mentoring field teams and coordinating with project leadership to support self-perform operations. This role requires strong leadership, schedule oversight, and a hands-on approach on active sites.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of construction experience, including 10 years as a Superintendent.
• Experience managing large, multimillion-dollar projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• OSHA 10-hour, First Aid, and CPR preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and construction scheduling tools.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and oversee field operations across multiple projects.
• Support pre-job planning, constructability reviews, and project pursuits.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and production plans.
• Monitor quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications.
• Mentor, develop, and evaluate field management and craft personnel.
• Coordinate manpower, resources, and equipment with project and regional leadership.
• Participate in client, subcontractor, and internal coordination meetings.
• Support equipment utilization, maintenance, and company safety initiatives.
• Assist with project start-ups, audits, reporting, and closeout activities.
