The role focuses on hazard identification, incident documentation, and supporting safety training across projects. The successful candidate will monitor PPE usage, maintain safety records, and collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to drive a culture of safety on Southeast construction sites.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
• Ability to perform jobsite safety inspections and hazard recognition.
• Experience documenting incidents and safety observations.
• Proficient with PPE requirements and enforcement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist with jobsite safety inspections and hazard identification.
• Support implementation of project safety plan and Wharton-Smith safety policies.
• Monitor PPE use and safe work practices.
• Document incidents, near-misses, and safety observations.
• Support safety meetings and training initiatives.
• Maintain safety records, reports, and compliance documents.
• Assist with other tasks as directed by Safety Manager or leadership.
