Prime Electric is seeking an experienced safety professional to implement and sustain health and safety programs across job sites. You will work with the Safety Director to raise safety awareness, conduct trainings, and ensure OSHA/DOSH compliance.
Occasional travel to sites is required as part of daily duties. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years related experience, OSHA 500 and CHST certifications, and strong organizational skills with proficiency in MS Office.

Under general supervision, supports the ongoing implementation and sustainment of health and safety programs focused on protecting workers by minimizing health and safety hazards at all company workplaces and project jobsites.
Work is primarily performed in an outdoor field setting with occasional exposure to health or safety hazards such as, but not limited to, electrical hazards, water hazards, hazardous terrain, inclement weather conditions, traffic and loud noises. Occasional operation of electrical field equipment. Work may be performed in cramped or awkward positions. Occasional climbing and/or lifting (30+ lbs.). Travel required to work sites. Frequent use of personal protective equipment (e.g. safety glasses, gloves, safety vests, hard hats and steel-toed boots).
Ability to read and interpret documents such as submittals, operations manuals and project schedules. Ability to write routine correspondence such as letters and memos. Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to internal and/or external clients of the firm.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instruction. Constructive thinking and alternative short- to long-term solutions must be considered. Action plans must be developed and implemented.
