Sheakley Workforce Staffing is seeking a Construction Safety Manager for a 2-month, 1099 contractor role on a large data center project in Avondale, AZ. You will lead safety for electrical construction, partnering with electricians and supervision to ensure OSHA compliance.

The role requires OSHA 30, 5+ years in construction safety, and NFPA 70E/LOTO experience. You will conduct site inspections, investigations, and drive a strong safety culture while supporting project production.

Construction Safety Manager

Location: Avondale, AZ

Duration: 2 Months (Start: 8/10)

Type: 1099 Contractor

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Rate: $56/hr

Per Diem: None

Completion Bonus: $150/month

Pay Frequency: Weekly

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM | Approximately 50 Hours Per Week

Required Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Construction Certification
• 5+ years of construction safety experience
• Experience supporting electrical contractors

Preferred Qualifications

• Data center construction experience
• NFPA 70E knowledge or experience
• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) experience
• Electrical commissioning or energization experience
• CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential

What You'll Be Doing

• Monitor temporary power and electrical safety practices
• Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
• Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation
• Maintain safety documentation, reports, inspections, and compliance records
• Partner with project leadership to proactively identify and mitigate hazards
• Promote a positive safety culture throughout the project
