Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing is seeking a Safety Coordinator in Chandler, AZ, on a 3-month 1099 contract. The role offers a pay rate of $56/hr with weekly payments, overtime, and a $150 monthly completion bonus. Initial schedule is 4:00 AM-3:00 PM, Monday-Friday, ~50 hours/week.

Local candidates preferred for the data center construction project. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on safety oversight for electrical construction activities, ensure OSHA compliance, and maintain strong field

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Certification is required.
• OSHA 510 Certification is required.
• Experience supporting active construction projects is required.
• Strong field safety presence and hazard recognition skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily field safety oversight for electrical construction activities.
• Conduct routine safety walks, inspections, and hazard assessments.
• Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas.
• Monitor electrical installation activities and high-risk work operations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements.
• Support site PPE inventory, distribution, and usage compliance.
• Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and pre-task plans.
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions.
• Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel.
• Coordinate safety activities with project management and supervision.
• Maintain required safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports.
• Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project.

Pay Frequency: Weekly
