Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing seeks a Safety Coordinator for a 3‑month Chandler, AZ project on a 1099 contract, supporting data center electrical construction. You will provide daily field safety oversight and maintain high visibility across active work areas.

The role requires OSHA 30 and OSHA 510, with experience on active construction sites, strong hazard recognition, and the ability to coordinate with supervision to drive safety. Overtime applies and weekly pay is provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide daily field safety oversight for electrical construction activities.
• Conduct routine safety walks, inspections, and hazard assessments.
• Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas.
• Monitor electrical installation activities and high‑risk work operations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project‑specific safety requirements.
• Support site PPE inventory, distribution, and usage compliance.
• Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and pre‑task plans.
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions.
• Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel.
• Coordinate safety activities with project management and supervision.
• Maintain required safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports.
• Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project.

Location: Chandler, AZ
Duration: 3 Months (Start: September 28, 2026)
Type: 1099 Contractor

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Rate: $56/hr
Overtime:Yes
Per Diem: None - Locals only
Completion Bonus: $150/month
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Schedule: Monday-Friday | Approximately 50 Hours/Week
Additional Schedule Details: Initial schedule is 4:00 AM-3:00 PM.
