Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing is seeking a Construction Safety Manager for a 2-month, 1099 contractor role on a large data center project in Avondale, AZ. You will lead safety for electrical construction, partnering with electricians and supervision to ensure OSHA compliance.

The role requires OSHA 30, 5+ years in construction safety, and NFPA 70E/LOTO experience. You will conduct site inspections, investigations, and drive a strong safety culture while supporting project production.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Construction Certification required.
• Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• Experience supporting electrical contractors on site.
• Experience conducting field inspections and compliance monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily safety activities for electrical construction operations.
• Maintain a strong field presence with electricians and supervision.
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.
• Support electrical installation, conduit, cable, and infrastructure activities.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Maintain safety documentation and compliance records.
• Proactively identify hazards with project leadership to mitigate risks.
