Sheakley in Lebanon, IN seeks a Site Safety Manager for a 7-10 month data center construction project. This 1099 contractor role starts early/mid October and involves hands‑on safety oversight for active operations, coordinating with project leadership and field personnel to keep a safe, productive site.

You will conduct site inspections, document compliance, and ensure hazard recognition and corrective actions across multiple crews, with a focus on strong field presence and clear communication,

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide daily field safety oversight for active construction operations.
• Conduct routine site inspections and hazard assessments.
• Verify equipment inspection processes are documented and followed.
• Maintain a visible field presence across work areas.
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions.
• Review safety compliance across multiple project areas.
• Reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel and subcontractors.
• Coordinate safety activities with project management and supervision.
• Assist with safety documentation, reports and compliance records.
• Participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses.

Site Safety Manager

Location: Lebanon, IN

Duration: 7-10 Months (Start: Early/Mid October)

Type: 1099 Contractor

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Rate: $49/hr

Overtime: Yes

Per Diem: $125/day (Days Worked Only, for non-local candidates)

Completion Bonus: $150/month

Pay Frequency: Weekly

Schedule: Approximately 50 Hours/Week

Additional Schedule Details: Typical work hours are 6:00-7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Saturdays may be required based on project needs.
