Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing is seeking a Lead Construction Safety Manager for a pharmaceutical facility project in Lebanon, IN. You will serve as the lead onsite safety professional, overseeing orientations, JHAs, observations, reporting, and safety meetings while collaborating with the General Contractor, owner's representatives, project management, and craft personnel.

The role requires OSHA 510 and OSHA 30 certifications, 5+ years of construction safety experience, and prior safety

Qualifications

• OSHA 510 Certification is required.
• OSHA 30 Construction Certification within the past 5 years.
• Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• Previous safety management experience required.
• Experience working directly with owner representatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite safety for the project and coordinate with GC/owners.
• Conduct new hire orientations and onboarding activities.
• Review and manage JHA and pre-task plans.
• Perform field observations, audits, inspections, and hazard assessments.
• Lead safety meetings and planning discussions.
• Monitor construction activities and safety practices.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and project safety requirements.
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents and near misses.
• Maintain safety documentation and reports.
• Promote a proactive safety culture on site.

Compensation & Schedule

Location: Lebanon, IN
Duration: 4 Months (Start: Immediate Need)
Type: 1099 Contractor

Pay Rate: $65/hr
Per Diem: $150/Day Worked On Site
Completion Bonus: $150/month
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Schedule: 40-50 Hours Per Week | Monday-Friday | 8 or 10 Hour Days/Nights
Additional Schedule Details: Two openings available supporting both day and night shift operations.
