If you're a hands-on Safety leader ready to take ownership of facility safety in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, this role could be a strong fit. You'll have the opportunity to lead and enhance workplace safety programs, ensuring compliance, reducing risk, and building a culture of safety across the operation.

What You’ll Own:

  • Conduct facility safety audits, inspections, and job hazard analyses to proactively identify and resolve risks
  • Champion incident investigations and root cause analysis, driving corrective and preventative actions
  • Own all safety-related documentation, including OSHA logs, training records, inspection reports, and SOPs
  • Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for all shifts and departments—own new hire orientation through ongoing development
  • Monitor, track, and report key safety performance metrics; make data-driven recommendations to leadership
  • Lead emergency response planning and act as the point person during crises or unexpected safety events
  • Partner with Operations, Maintenance, HR, and other departments to embed safety into all workflows and decision-making
  • Serve as the visible, go-to resource on the floor for safety coaching, leadership, and accountability

What’s in It for You:

  • A critical leadership role with a direct impact on people, performance, and safety culture
  • The chance to build and shape safety processes in an organization that values continuous improvement
  • Visibility with senior leadership and the opportunity to make your mark in a collaborative environment
  • A team-oriented culture where hands-on leadership is recognized and rewarded

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience leading safety in a food manufacturing or industrial environment
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices in workplace safety
  • Strong communication and leadership skills—comfortable on the floor and in the boardroom
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance and drive continuous improvement
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field preferred
