Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing seeks a Construction Safety Manager in Greenville, SC for a 3-month temp-to-hire assignment at an active manufacturing site. You will champion field safety, partner with project management, supervision, and subcontractors to implement robust safety programs and ensure compliant, safe work practices.

Qualifications

• OSHA 510 Certification is required.
• Minimum 3+ years of construction safety experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
• Experience conducting inspections, audits, orientations, and safety meetings.
• Ability to work independently as the primary safety representative onsite.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily field safety oversight for ongoing construction activities.
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments.
• Lead project safety orientations and toolbox talks.
• Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements.
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions.
• Coordinate safety activities with project management, supervision, and subcontractors.
• Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation.
• Maintain required safety documentation, inspection records, and reports.
• Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project.
• Serve as the primary onsite safety resource for all project personnel.

Construction Safety Manager

Location: Greenville, SC
Duration: 3 Months (Start: ASAP)
Type: Temp-to-Hire | 1099 Contractor Transitioning to W2 Full-Time Employment

Compensation & Schedule

Local Pay Rate: $60/hr
Traveler Pay Rate: $55/hr
Per Diem: $150/Day (Travelers Only)
Completion Bonus: $150/month
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8 Hour Days | Approximately 40 Hours Per Week
Additional Schedule Details: Weekend work may be required based on project needs.
