Responsibilities

• Oversee daily safety activities for mechanical and fire protection construction operations.
• Maintain a visible field presence alongside craft personnel and project supervision.
• Conduct routine site inspections, safety observations, and risk assessments.
• Monitor mechanical piping, HVAC, fire protection, and equipment installation activities.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements.
• Provide field coaching and mentorship to supervisors and craft personnel.
• Deliver toolbox talks and support ongoing safety training initiatives.
• Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation.
• Maintain safety reports, inspections, observations, and compliance documentation.
• Partner with project leadership to proactively identify and mitigate hazards.
• Promote a positive safety culture across the project.

Schedule: Monday-Saturday | 60 Hours Per Week (6x10s) | 1st Shift

This role provides hands‑on safety leadership for mechanical piping, HVAC, fire protection system installation, material handling, elevated work, and daily construction activities on a large-scale aerospace project.

The Construction Safety Manager will partner closely with project leadership, field supervision, and craft personnel to maintain OSHA compliance while promoting a proactive safety culture throughout all phases of construction.

Required Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Construction Certification
• Minimum 5 Years Of Construction Safety Experience
• Mechanical construction safety experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Fire protection construction experience
• Aerospace, aviation, or aircraft hangar construction experience
• Industrial or manufacturing construction experience
• Experience supporting large-scale commercial construction projects
• CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential
