The Construction Safety Manager position in Green Bay, WI is a direct-hire opportunity with Sheakley Workforce Staffing. You will oversee the company safety program, support project teams and field personnel, and ensure compliance across multiple active jobsites.

Responsibilities include conducting audits, leading training, documenting findings, and partnering with Project Managers to create site-specific safety plans. This role requires daily site travel and strong OSHA knowledge.

Qualifications

  • OSHA 500 and OSHA 30 Construction certifications required.
  • Minimum 2+ years of construction safety experience.
  • Experience conducting jobsite inspections, audits, and safety observations.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards.
  • Ability to travel daily to active construction sites.

Responsabilités

  • Assist and educate employees on proper safety practices, including new hire safety orientations.
  • Provide detailed written reports documenting jobsite visits and observations.
  • Define and document safety processes and procedures to improve departmental efficiency.
  • Create site-specific safety plans in partnership with Project Managers.
  • Manage electronic tracking of employee safety training records.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents alongside General Contractors and project teams.
  • Assist with documentation related to injured workers and return-to-work programs.
  • Attend safety meetings with General Contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Motivate and develop safety awareness throughout the organization.
  • Partner with project management to address hazardous conditions and safety concerns.
  • Develop and execute health and safety plans in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct OSHA-related safety training when appropriate.
  • Stay current on OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
  • Perform routine jobsite audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Support behavior-based safety initiatives and workforce engagement programs.
  • Verify employees maintain required training and certifications for assigned work.
  • Travel to multiple jobsites and occasional overnight assignments as required.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 Annually
Company Vehicle: Provided
Benefits: Full Benefits Package
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 1st Shift | Approximately 40 Hours Per Week

Required Qualifications
  • OSHA 500 Certification
  • OSHA 30 Construction Certification

  • Commercial Interiors Construction Experience
  • Specialty Contractor Safety Experience

  • CHST, ASP, CSP, OHST, STSC, or Other BCSP Credential
  • Experience Developing Safety Programs and Procedures
