The candidate should have 7+ years in construction safety, OSHA 510 and CHST or CSP, plus experience managing teams on large projects. Data center experience is a plus, and strong communication is essential.

Responsibilities

Our Client is seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Manager to oversee and implement all health and safety programs for a construction project in Atlanta, Georgia area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety, a proactive approach to risk management, and the ability to enforce compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations.

This role will play a critical part in maintaining a safe work environment for all personnel on-site, conducting regular inspections, leading safety meetings, and ensuring that all safety protocols and procedures are followed consistently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the on-site safety program in compliance with OSHA and company standards
• Conduct site safety inspections and audits; identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken
• Organize and conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for staff and subcontractors
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; maintain detailed reports and recommend improvementsEnsure all personnel comply with project safety plans and proceduresCollaborate with project management, field supervision, and subcontractors to promote a culture of safetyMaintain and submit all required documentation, including daily safety reports, permits, and training logsMonitor and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Support environmental compliance and emergency response plans as needed

Minimum Qualifications :

• 7+ years of full-time construction safety experience and current OSHA 510 and CHST or CSP certification
• Experience managing safety on large-scale or industrial construction projects
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 regulations
• Data center/Mission Critical experience is a plus.
• This person must have experience running a project with direct reports.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software
