Hawaiian Electric Company in Pearl City – Oahu is seeking a Safety Professional to lead and advance a zero-incident safety culture. You will develop and sustain safety programs, train staff, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations across operations.

Responsibilities include inspecting environments, developing policies, monitoring safety metrics, investigating incidents, and coordinating with management to drive continuous improvement in safety performance.

Formación

• Three to five years experience in maintenance/repair in a power plant or industrial environment, or operations in such environments.
• Several years (3-5) industrial safety experience.
• Must possess valid driver's license and the ability to qualify for a CDL.
• Experience coordinating safety programs with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Remove barriers to safety compliance with applicable requirements and coach staff on safety programs.
• Inspect workplaces for compliance with laws, regulations and company policies; update programs accordingly.
• Develop and review safety policies and disseminate information to reduce risks.
• Oversee development and implementation of training programs and track attendance.
• Monitor safety activities and investigate incidents to develop corrective action plans.
