Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking a Safety Manager to lead the safety program across the continental U.S. and Canada, supporting manufacturing operations in North Carolina and branch offices.

This role focuses on workers' compensation administration and proactive safety improvements. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in health and safety, with OSHA 500 preferred and CHST/CSP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of experience in health and safety, preferably in the construction or field service industry.
• Demonstrated experience administering workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs.
• OSHA 500 certification preferred.
• CHST or CSP certification preferred.
• Excellent critical thinking, organization, and written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safety function across the continental U.S. and Canada.
• Manage the workers' compensation program end to end, including timely submission and active management of claims.
• Analyze injury and claims data to identify trends and root causes.
• Develop and deliver safety training for employees and managers.
• Ensure OSHA recordkeeping and reporting of injuries and investigations.
