Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• OSH certification (CSP, CHST, CIH) preferred.
• 5+ years in safety management in construction/manufacturing, steel/structure.
• Strong regulatory knowledge and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and safety software.

Responsibilities

• Safety Program Development: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs and policies for a safe working environment for employees, subcontractors, and visitors.
• Safety Training and Education: Conduct safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and workshops and coordinate job-specific training and certifications.
• Safety Inspections and Audits: Perform regular inspections and audits of worksites and equipment, document findings, issue corrective actions, and follow up.
• Incident Investigation and Reporting: Investigate accidents and near misses, determine root causes, and prepare detailed incident reports for management and regulatory agencies.
• Safety Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and industry safety standards and stay updated on regulatory changes.
• Safety Communication and Promotion: Promote a safety-first culture through meetings, newsletters, posters, and digital signage.
