Responsibilities

• Safety Program Development: develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs and policies; review and update safety manuals, procedures, and protocols to meet regulations and industry best practices.
• Safety Training and Education: conduct training sessions, toolbox talks, and workshops; coordinate with department managers to provide job-specific training and certifications.
• Safety Inspections and Audits: perform regular inspections and audits; document findings, issue corrective actions, and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
• Incident Investigation and Reporting: investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports with analysis and recommendations for management and regulatory agencies.
• Safety Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations; keep up to date on regulatory changes and implement updates.
• Safety Communication and Promotion: promote a safety-first culture through meetings, newsletters, posters, and digital signage; encourage employee participation.

• 5+ years of experience in safety management or related roles, preferably in construction, steel fabrication, or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and safety management software/tools.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety management.
