Job summary

Five Star Recruiting and Staffing is seeking a Safety Supervisor to promote a safe workplace and lead your team in implementing safety programs across our Indiana operations.

You will partner with operations, HR, and leadership to train staff, monitor compliance with OSHA regulations, analyze safety data, and drive continuous improvement through audits, investigations, and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Occupational Safety and Health or related field preferred; alternative with relevant certifications.
• Minimum 3 years safety experience in an industrial/manufacturing/construction environment.
• At least 1 year in leadership or supervisory role.
• OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR Instructor certifications a plus.
• Spanish and English language proficiency preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS/Learning Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update Safety Management System with records and reports.
• Monitor, implement, and improve safety programs and procedures.
• Lead incident investigations and determine root causes.
• Provide safety trainings and toolbox talks.
• Ensure site compliance for contractors and workers.
• Coordinate emergency response planning and drills.
• Promote safety culture across all departments.
• Perform safety audits, risk assessments, and projects.
• Support occupational health services as needed.
• Maintain a regular presence on the production floor.
