KNAPP is seeking a Health & Safety Coordinator in Elwood, IL to oversee and enhance the safety practices of the warehouse maintenance team. This role ensures regulatory compliance and minimizes risk in a dynamic environment with automated systems.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Occupational Safety or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a safety role within an industrial/logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, NFPA standards, and maintenance safety protocols.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead safety briefings and toolbox talks for the maintenance team.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related matters at the site.
• Promote a proactive safety culture through coaching, mentoring, and training.
• Implement and maintain the ISO 45001:2018-compliant OHS Management System at the site level.
• Support the maintenance team, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with corporate Safety Compliance to align site practices with KNAPP standards.
• Maintain accurate safety records, reports and documentation per regulatory and internal requirements.
