Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support one or more distribution centers in Braselton, GA. You will develop SOPs, deliver training, conduct inspections, and manage investigations to drive sustainable safety improvements.

The role partners with Operations, HR, and Maintenance to implement safety programs, analyze incident trends, and ensure compliance with OSHA and related regulations. Onsite, you will coach supervisors and lead site safety committee meetings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2+ years in warehouse or manufacturing with safety responsibilities.
• On-site role in Braselton, GA.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910) and root cause analysis methods.
• Strong communication and coaching skills; floor presence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in security matters and personnel issues.
• PIT trainer or PIT operator experience.
• Experience developing SOPs or training content.
• Experience with incident management systems.
• Ability to analyze events and perform risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and rollout of safety SOPs and standardized work across facilities.
• Deliver safety training including new-hire orientation and PIT training.
• Conduct safety audits, daily walk-throughs, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Lead or support safety event investigations with root-cause analysis.
• Maintain safety records, inspection logs, and compliance documentation.
• Own select safety programs and ensure consistent execution across sites.
• Analyze safety data and incident trends; advise site leadership.
• Participate in risk assessments and Management of Change reviews.
• Coach supervisors and associates on safe work practices and hazard recognition.
• Lead site safety committee meetings and local safety initiatives.
• Assist with OSHA, fire protection, PIT operations, and regulatory compliance.
