Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Lithia Springs, GA is hiring a Safety Supervisor. The role ensures day-to-day health, safety and environmental support to site leadership and teams, shaping safety culture and implementing risk control programs.

The position requires strong knowledge of HSE policies, OSHA/EPA/DOT compliance, and the ability to train staff on safe operating behaviors. Full-time, onsite with potential for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years’ experience in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Experience with safety observations/inspections and compliance planning.
• Knowledge of safety and health management systems and practices.
• Preferred: forklift/MHE certification or knowledge of basic MHE operation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enforce HSE policies and procedures for the facility.
• Ensure safety and security of the site, operations, and staff.
• Track safety metrics such as incident rates and IFR statistics.
• Develop and implement safety programs, training and risk controls.
• Coordinate with site leadership and corporate safety to meet regulatory requirements.
• Lead safety audits, incident investigations and regulatory reporting.
• Provide coaching and guidance to staff on safe operating practices.
