Job summary

Quanta Services, Inc. is seeking a Safety Coordinator for Transmission projects in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The successful candidate will lead efforts to ensure safety excellence, working onsite with crews to monitor compliance and foster a safety-first culture. A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the power industry is required, with relevant safety certifications preferred. Qualifications

• 3-5 years of field experience in the power industry, particularly in Transmission.
• Experience as a Journeyman lineman, foreman, or safety in the field.
• Completed or pursuing relevant safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support the Irby Safety Management System implementation.
• Promote proactive safety measures and correct unsafe conditions.
• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws.

Skills

Strong persuasive skills

Ability to organize safety material

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Education

Safety Certification (OSHA 500 / 510, CHST, ASP, CSP)
