Job summary

Irby Construction Company, a subsidiary of Quanta Services, is seeking a Safety Coordinator for South Louisiana. The role requires 3+ years in Safety/Training and 2+ years in electric transmission/substation construction and maintenance, with deep knowledge of OSHA standards.

You will lead safety inspections, coordinate with customers and regulators, and drive safety programs across sites in the region. This is a field-based position with regional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Safety/Training.
• Minimum of two (2) years of continuous Electric Transmission and/or Substation construction/maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure field management work is performed safely according to specifications.
• Observe employees at work and document safety behavior using company forms.
• Compile crew observations and equipment forms for project supervision and safety department.
