Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in electric utility industry performing detailed engineering for high voltage substation projects.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university; P.E. license required.
• Strong technical expertise across structural, civil, electrical or mechanical engineering and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design of high voltage infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
• Review calculations, drawings, and specs for substations or transmission lines.
• Ensure projects meet budget, schedule and cost targets.
• Coordinate with agencies, contractors and stakeholders to ensure delivery.
• Maintain quality control and engineering documentation.
• Support external customers and prepare status reports.
• Uphold safety, environmental and regulatory standards.
• Travel as needed up to 25% of the time.
