M.C. Dean is Building Intelligence®. We design, build, operate, and maintain cyber-physical solutions for critical facilities nationwide. The Safety Professional Lead oversees Facilities Engineering safety, health, and risk management, guides ORM processes, and coordinates with management and customers on site-specific safety plans.

The role requires strong knowledge of OSHA standards, safety management systems, and training program development, with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Safety, Health (S&H) programs and ORM initiatives.
• Familiarity with OSHA 1910/1926; EM-385 1-1 and DOT compliance is a plus.
• Knowledge of OHSMS (ANSI-Z10, OHSAS 18001, ISO 31000, ISO 45001).
• Ability to coordinate with customers, project teams, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with customers, project team members, and contractors to advise on project-specific mitigation plans and training programs.
• Assist with development and implementation of Site-Specific Accident Prevention Programs (APP) and training plans.
• Help manage site safety budgets, safe work permits, and ensure contract compliance.
• Lead the ORM team in reviewing and developing project safety plans per specifications and regulations; conduct incident investigations.
• Ensure knowledge of safety standards and OSHA/DOT compliance; support risk management and safety reporting.
• Travel as required to project sites (e.g., Omaha, NE) and support client requirements.
