Job summary

Quanta-Services is seeking a Safety Lead to manage health and safety across projects, coordinating with Project Managers and on-site teams to ensure a safe working environment. Responsible for safety training, incident investigations, and compliance with customer and company safety requirements.

The role requires a safety-focused professional with experience in high voltage construction, strong leadership, and the ability to conduct audits and safety meetings. Travel up to 90% is possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience in a safety role within high voltage substation, transmission, and distribution construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Leads project safety and health initiatives for each project assigned.
• Oversees subcontractor and vendor on-site personnel from a safety perspective.
• Proactively assists and supports crew members to achieve a safe work environment.
• Leads weekly safety meetings with all personnel on projects.
• Conducts daily project safety audits in coordination with the QISG Safety Director.
