Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. offers a Safety Internship for Summer 2026. The program runs 10–12 weeks and exposes students to CEI’s Commercial, Data Center, and Energy & Renewables markets. Interns assist with Job Hazard Analyses, safety program reviews, regulatory compliance, and toolbox talks, gaining hands-on field safety experience in a real- world setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current student pursuing Safety, EHS or related major.

Responsibilities

• Support Crew Foreman in developing Job Hazard Analyses.
• Evaluate safety program effectiveness through daily field walks.
• Assist with regulatory compliance and audit oversight.
• Provide feedback to project leadership on safety improvements.
• Coach and mentor employees on safe behaviors and recognize safe actions.
• Support weekly toolbox safety meetings with project teams.
• Assist in incident investigations as needed.
