County Materials Family of Companies in Eau Claire, WI, is seeking a Safety Intern to support the safety department with implementing and maintaining safety protocols. You will work with Operations and safety team to ensure a safe, compliant work environment; emphasis on administrative support and field exposure.

The internship offers exposure to regulatory reporting, incident investigations, safety training, audits, and data analysis as part of a growing manufacturing company that values

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in safety-focused coursework.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with basic office software and quick to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate safety records and assist with manuals and training materials.
• Coordinate new-hire safety training and track participation.
• Conduct safety inspections and address hazards with Operations.
• Assist in incident investigations and reporting.
• Support development of emergency response plans and drills.
• Communicate safety policies and promote safety culture.
• Compile and analyze safety data and generate management reports.
• Stay informed on safety regulations and assist in regulatory reporting.
