Job summary

Mulzer Crushed Stone, Inc., a CRH Company, invites a safety-focused student to join our internship program in Indiana. You will help plan and implement safety initiatives across the organization, supporting a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment.

As an intern, you will conduct on-site inspections, assist with environmental data and regulatory reports, and contribute to day-to-day compliance activities while gaining hands-on experience in a large, field-based operation.

Qualifications

• Must be currently pursuing a degree in safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Willing to work overtime in the field during the internship period, May to August.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures; write routine reports; communicate with employees.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and implement the organization's safety program.
• Assist with on-site inspections, sampling, testing, and compliance.
• Evaluate permits, environmental data, and site conditions.
• Participate in regulatory meetings and prepare regulatory reports.
• Engage in day-to-day environmental compliance tasks.
