Job summary

Mulzer Crushed Stone, Inc., a CRH Company, seeks a motivated student intern to provide technical support to operations management on surveying, drilling and blasting, and mine modelling for permitting and planning.

You will assist with plant process overviews, KPI reporting, and learning the 3-year mine planning process while developing skills in safety and predictive maintenance within a rock and aggregates environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a four-year degree program related to mining, engineering or earth sciences.
• Basic computer skills through coursework or practical use.
• Ability to communicate with vendors and employees at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety training and overview of plant operations and products.
• Support aggregate operations and mine planning processes.
• Assist with KPI reporting, plant process overviews, and production reports.
• Learn ground/plant/operator roles and predictive maintenance concepts.
