Qualifications

• Desired majors include Occupational Safety & Health; Safety Management; Public Health; Industrial Hygiene; Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability; Fire Protection & Safety; related fields.
• Concurrent enrollment in a Bachelor's degree (or higher) seeking program for the duration of the internship experience.
• Strong academic performance.
• Available to work on site 40 hours per week.
• Must be able to ascend/descend stairs or ladders and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license for work-related travel.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Available for multiple work terms preferred.
• MIN - $24.09 per hour / MAX - $35.96 per hour

Responsibilities

• Support health, environmental hygiene planning and compliance activities across multiple business areas.
• Assist with facility audits, employee training programs, industrial hygiene, and incident investigations.
• Engage in health, safety and security projects and liaise with Marathon business units.
