Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation (MPC) offers internship and co‑op opportunities to high‑performing college students for meaningful hands‑on experiences. Interns work with seasoned professionals across refining, midstream, and HES&S domains, gaining training and contributing to real projects.

Location includes Findlay, OH, with multiple sites nationwide. Candidates should be enrolled in a related safety/health field, maintain strong academics, and be able to commit to on-site, full‑time weeks.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related safety/health field.
• Concurrent enrollment for the duration of the internship.
• Strong academic performance across courses.
• Available to work on site 40 hours per week.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support health, safety, and security planning and compliance activities.
• Assist with facility audits and employee training programs.
• Participate in health, safety and security projects and incident investigations.
• Coordinate with Marathon business units as needed.
