Job summary

M. J. Electric, LLC is seeking a Safety & Health Field Coordinator to administer a comprehensive safety management system for electrical industrial construction and maintenance.

You will work with managers, project teams, and craft personnel to promote safe work practices. This role requires 5–10 years of construction safety experience, a Bachelor’s degree in OSH or related field, and willingness to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of construction safety experience
• Bachelor’s Degree Occupational Safety & Health or Construction Management preferred, or related field experience will be considered
• Demonstrated ability to work with IBEW union craft personnel
• Strong interpersonal skills; extensive travel required

Responsibilities

• Assist with on-site safety orientation for new hires
• Coordinate safety meetings and conduct training
• Support incident investigation efforts
• Conduct on-site safety audits and provide safety technical support
• Recordkeeping and reporting
• Promote proactive safety activities and correct unsafe conditions
• Integrate safety into project plans and monitor safety metrics
• Support and coach supervisors and employees
• Provide feedback to encourage learning and safety compliance
• Set priorities for continuous improvement

About this Role – Safety & Health Coordinator

We are looking for a talented Safety & Health Field Coordinator who has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible for the administration and management of a comprehensive safety management system for electrical industrial construction and maintenance.The Field Safety Coordinator will work closely with the Manager Safety & Health - Industrial, Project Managers, Project Superintendents and craft personnel to promote and ensure safe work practice and conditions.

What You’ll Do

• Assistance with new hire general safety orientation
• Coordination of on-site safety meetings and conducting safety training
• Supporting incident investigation efforts
