Job summary

Sika is seeking a manufacturing operator in Sealy, Texas to actively participate in the Sika SAFE program and uphold safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.

You will oversee packaging and mixing operations, ensure processes meet specifications, and document parameters while using SAP and PLC programs.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years in an industrial setting, with the ability to work various shifts and overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to develop process expertise to troubleshoot.
• Comfort with forklift operation and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the Sika SAFE Program.
• Oversee and operate packaging equipment per specifications.
• Oversee and operate mixing equipment per specifications.
• Ensure products meet quality standards including weight and labeling.
• Use SAP and PLC programs to monitor and control processes.
• Train and assist new and temporary employees.
